On the 15th of October people from all over the World will take to the streets to express our outrage at the loss of our rights at the hands of big corporations, financial institutions and the political class. #occupydamestreet and Real Democracy Now! Ireland invite you to participate in this international protest. Join us at the Garden of Remembrance on Saturday the 15th at 2pm. We intend marching to the site of the ongoing Dame Street occupation. There we will hold an open forum in which you can share your opinions and proposals for regarding the state of our ‘democracy’, the financial system and the ongoing attacks on social welfare and public services in Ireland.
We intend to celebrate and build on the (what will be by then) week long occupation of the environs of the Central Bank. Come share food and music with us and think about joining the occupation. YES WE CAMP!

occupydamestreet
Brilliant all day.Couldn’t believe that the local restaurants were donating food - would love to find out who they were. Lots of food and really great food at that. I was amazed to meet people from as far away as Cape Clear, and Ballyhea (north Cork). Not only have they travelled across the country but are sleeping in tents outside the bank. I am so heartened!
